Privacy policy

Your bookkeeping belongs to you. Here you can read exactly which data we process, why we do so and what rights you have. No small print, just plain language.

01Who we are

Admillio is a Dutch accounting package for freelancers and small businesses, developed by accountants. Admillio is a trade name of Millio Group B.V., located at Westhavenweg 109 E, 1042 BB Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42067007. Millio Group B.V. is the controller of the data you share with us through this website and our app.

02What data we process

Depending on how you use Admillio, we process the following data:

  • Account details: name, email address, company name and Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number
  • Bookkeeping data: invoices, receipts, bank transactions and time entries that you enter or forward yourself
  • Messages you send us, for example via WhatsApp or the contact form
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and page visits

03What we use your data for

  • To make Admillio work: keeping your books, recognising receipts and preparing tax returns
  • To help you when you contact us
  • To improve the website and app, based on anonymised usage
  • To comply with statutory (tax) retention obligations

04Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties needed to run Admillio, such as hosting providers within the EU and bank connection providers, and only under a data processing agreement. If you give your accountant access to your organisation, you decide what they may see and do.

05Retention periods

We keep bookkeeping data for as long as your account is active, plus the statutory tax retention period of seven years. If you close your account, you can export your data first. We keep other data no longer than necessary.

06Security

All connections are encrypted (TLS), data is stored encrypted within the EU and access is limited to staff who genuinely need it. We actively monitor for suspicious activity.

07Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work and, only with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies; we will simply ask again on your next visit.

08Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export or have your data deleted. You can also object to processing or lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Email us and we will take care of it, usually within a few working days.
